I offer one-to-one consultations in two different contexts.
As we walk the spiritual journey it can be helpful to have a guide or mentor to accompany us. Sometimes this person is known as a spiritual director, though the term used by the early Celtic church – Anamcara, which means Soul-friend, may be a better description.
Consultations focus on your spiritual life and practice, with the aim of helping you go deeper, to engage more fully and to overcome any obstacles on your spiritual journey.
Spiritual guidance consultations are offered through Breakthrough, which is a UK Registered Charity Therefore payment for each appointment is on a donation basis. There is no minimum donation as I am keen for spiritual guidance to be available to those of limited means, however, you might like to base your donation on what you would expect to pay a counsellor, therapist or life-coach.
Sometimes also known as life-coaching. These consultations tend to focus on helping people to develop and grow in their everyday life – things such as work, relationships, learning to play to their strengths etc. There is a spiritual dimension to the coaching I offer, but it is not necessarily central to the coaching process.
Coaching consultations are offered on a private, professional basis. Therefore there is a consultation fee with some reductions available by negotiation for those on low incomes.
which is right for me?
If you are not sure which type of consultation is right for you; I am happy to arrange an informal conversation to help us agree together which would be most suitable.
how and when do consultations take place
Consultations last between an hour and 90 minutes, and can take place face-to-face if you live within travelling distance, or via Skype. Sometimes people may be looking for a single consultation, or we may agree together on regular appointments.
In the first instance please get in touch via the form on the contact page, telling me something about yourself and what you are looking for.
